14 Scrapbook Pages & 16 Cards from 1 Kit, Plus Some!

I spent two evenings turning the I Wish Simply Scrappin' Kit into these 14 6x6 scrapbook pages and 16 4x4 cards (on the right side are the 15 cards we'll be doing in the Christmas Card Stamp-a-Stack on November 15th...see this post).

I have 2 full sheets and 2 8x8 sheets of DSP left and 2 full sheets plus a little more of the cardstock stickers left over to make even MORE with this great kit! At $19.95, that's a bargain! I can't believe how much this kit made. I added my own ribbon, felt, and metal Stampin' Up! accents, but you wouldn't need to add anything as the cardstock stickers are very nice! (click to see a bigger photo)

Thanks for stopping by! If you think you'd like to order this kit, you may do so anytime, day or night, at my Stampin' Up! website at http://2stampis2b.stampinup.net/ and click on the Shop Now button.

Have a great week, and don't forget to enter here to win my blog candy to celebrate reaching 10,000 hits!

Urban Silhouette Stripe

This is the 2nd card we made at Kathy's workshop last weekend. This is the way we actually made the card...the photo in the earlier post was a little different. We stamped the Pocket Silhouette image in Craft Whisper White Ink and heat embossed it with Iridescent Ice embossing powder. A strip of Urban Garden paper goes nicely with the Chocolate Chip and Baja Breeze CS and Baja Breeze striped grosgrain ribbon. We punched the greeting out with the Word Window punch and raised it up with Stampin' Dimensionals.

It reminds me of the frosty fall grass and other plants in our meadow each cold morning lately!

Kindred Spirits Pink Pirouette

Here's another installment of the Kindred Spirits simple cards inspired by Dawn McVey. These are done in clear VersaMark ink and embossed in Clear EP again, but are more subtle than the darker cardstock cards.

Have a great Saturday!

Urban Silhouette

Here is the 2nd Make and Take we made at Kathy's Workshop last Saturday. Whisper White Craft Ink heat embossed with Iridescent Ice EP made the Pocket Silhouette stamp sparkle. The ribbon is 5/8" Striped Grosgrain in Baja Breeze to go with the Chocolate Chip CS, Whisper White card base, and stripe of Urban Garden DSP at the bottom. The greeting was stamped in Chocolate Chip Classic ink and punched out with the Word Window punch. Stampin' Dimensionals make it stand up.

Fall Train Card

At Kathy's workshop last Saturday, one of our Make and Takes was this fall (or masculine, or both!) Train card, made with the Happiness is a Journey stamp set.

We smooshed Chocolate Chip, Really Rust, Old Olive, and More Mustard Craft Spots onto the rough side of the Stamp-a-ma-Jig index sheet in quadrants, then used that as our ink pad to get this effect:

The greeting was stamped with VersaMark ink and heat embossed with Black embossing powder.
Have a great day!

Sparkly Fall Flair

This ranks up there with one of my favorite cards I've ever made, CASEd from a stack of swap cards that Teresa brought up with her for show-and-tell a few weeks ago...Thanks, T!

It's made with the Hostess Level 2 set Fall Flair and some Dazzling Diamonds applied with a 2-Way Glue Pen. The sentiment is from Heard from the Heart. Paper is Riding Hood Red, Pink Pirouette, and Whisper White, and ink is Riding Hood Red, Pink Pirouette, and Kiwi Kiss. I also used my Stamp-a-ma-Jig, Scallop Edge Punch, and Mat Stack and Paper Piercer.
Love it!

Kindred Spirits Baja Breeze

I CASEd Dawn McVey and her simple Kindred Spirits cards! What fun it was to make a set of 12 of these using both stamps in the set and all 6 of the In Color papers. The images are stamped in VersaMark ink and then embossed with Clear Embossing Powder...that's it!

I took this photo at the same time, can you believe the difference in lighting? Not sure what happened there!

Thanks for a great case, Dawn! I'll have more of these to show in the days ahead.

Columbus Day Weekend Blowout!

Wow, I made a ton of cards this weekend! Lots of them are CASEd from various people and a few were pretty simple. I made at least 2 of each one and here is what I got:

I'll be showing you closeups of these in the future!

I also finally got some labels on my stamp storage drawers, using retired Hodgepodge Hardware and a piece of clear acetate behind to attach them to the wire baskets with the brads. My categories are backgrounds, greetings, seasons & holidays, occasions, growing up, botanical, icons & business, and retired.

I don't know if I've ever gotten that much done in one stamping weekend, but it sure feels good!
Thanks for stopping by,

Teresa's Thank You

Isn't this a beautiful card that Teresa sent me?

I am going to post ahead a few days...we're getting heavy, wet snow over the next few days, which means the likelihood of us losing power is pretty good. If you don't hear from me, I'm on autopilot! If the power does go out, hopefully I'll have decent daylight and a little generator time to create this weekend!
Enjoy your weekend!

This pocket card is made with the reindeer stamp from Deer Friends Level II Hostess stamps. The border stamp up the side is the retired All in a Row.

Keep warm,

Club Spider

Here is what we did at Club last night for our bonus project...this is the ONLY spider I like in the whole world (don't like live ones).

He's made with a Scallop Circle punch, Photo Corners punch, 1/2" circle and 1/4" circle punch, some SNAIL and Tombow adhesive, and a white Signo gel pen. The treat is a York Peppermint Patty. These would make cute class treats or party favors!

Thanks for stopping by!

Michelle

Club Cards

Here are the 2 cards we made for Club last night...one is a pop up card and the other is 3D sunflowers made from the Scallop Circle punch. The pop up card base pushes up so the whole card folds flat for mailing in a regular Medium Envelope! We used the Poppin' Pastels technique for the main Seasonal Whimsy image after embossing it in black embossing powder.

Next I'll post our little bonus project!
Michelle

October Club Scrap Page

Here is the 6x6 scrapbook page we made at Club last night. If you didn't have a photo, you can follow this for your final layout.

We used Basic Black, Creamy Caramel, Very Vanilla, and Kiwi Kiss cardstock; Black StazOn ink for the greeting; Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss, Ruby Red, and More Mustard Classic inks for the tree and leaves and bird. Accessories used were the Paper Snips, Mini Glue Dots for the greeting flag, Stampin' Dimensionals for the bird, SNAIL adhesive, Tombow Multi Mono Adhesive for the tree and leaves, the 3/4" circle punch for the leaves, and the Stamp-a-ma-jig for the greeting placement.
I'll post photos of the cards and spider treat later today when I have decent daylight to take the photos!
Thanks for coming everyone...do you think we'll ever get Mike stamping? I wonder if the smell of the wonderful taco salad that Courtney brought lured him down?

Stamp Storage

I've been reorganizing my studio, and managed to clean out this cart that had odd types of adhesives and my QuicKutz stuff in it, so that I'd have room for my stamps. Somehow, they all fit. I just need to hang some labels on the front of each basket with the categories of stamps that are in each drawer. I've grouped them by sentiments, backgrounds, fall and Halloween, growing up, Christmas and winter, multiple seasons, spring/summer, greetings sets, occasions, floral, and retired sets in the bottom drawer (yes, I can't let go yet!).

So, now my paper, stamps, ink, and brads are organized. Who knows what is next?!

Wedding Card and Gift

I'm going to a wedding today! My cousin Justin is marrying Heather, so of course I had to make a card, and you've already seen the stationery set that I made them, but here is how I wrapped it in cellophane with some matching ribbon cinching it up.

The card is stamped with the retired Greetings Galore set and hand colored with Blender Pens and Classic Inks. I embossed around the image using a Nestability oval and my Big Shot die cut machine from Stampin' Up! A piece of Whisper White taffeta ribbon is tied through a Horizontal Slot punch on the one edge. Simple and clean looking.

Congratulations Justin and Heather!

Mom's Tiles and Towels

Mom made 3 really cool tiles while Teresa was here! I only have 2 Craft ink pads, so Teresa brought hers, stored ingeniously in a parts/bolts bin! It was nice to have the complete color selection!

Mom brought these 2 hand towels that she embroidered. Aren't they beautiful?

Thanks for looking!
