Razzleberry Lemonade Swap

Razzleberry Lemonade...doesn't that Designer Series Paper name sound refreshing?

This gorgeous card was made by Molly C. for our Sneak Peek swap hosted by my friend Teresa. The medallion is from the Circle Circus stamp set and goes with the pattern on the Designer Series Paper so well!

Animal Stories Swap

Once again I participated in my friend Teresa's swap, where we all picked out a Stampin' Up! Sneak Peek set, made enough of that card for everyone in the swap, then sent it off to Teresa to send one of each design back to all of us!

Definition of sneak peek: As demonstrators, we are allowed to order new goodies before anyone else. You can too, if you Join My Team!

This one was made with the new Animal Stories stamp set by Diana E. and is gorgeous! She also slipped in the new Tall Tales Designer Series Paper. I think it's a very sophisticated look!

Scrat Would Jump Off a Cliff for this Acorn!

Wow, I made a lot of cards out of the hostess set The More the Merrier! This last one also features the new background stamp, Woodgrain. I can see a lot of potential for that one, especially with fall and Christmas coming!

Ask Michelle Answers Returns II

Back in this post, several of you asked me questions, and I'm here to give you some more answers, and today I'll be answering Jamie A.'s questions, and she had two!

Q: Hi Michelle! Thanks for all the inspiration you provide. I am a hobby demo overseas and I don't for the life of me know how to really start doing SU as a business. What are your suggestions?

A: The first thing I recommend is spending some time getting to know the Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Site. Log in and read! Place a couple of practice orders. Read the Demonstrator Manual. Read through all of the New Demonstrator Corner material and resources. Then, schedule your first workshop! Invite family and close friends that will be supportive and understanding of your butterflies. More workshops and customers will not be far behind! My own team members have access to our private Team Blog, where I give business tips, technique tips & tricks, encouragement and achievement recognition, and support from each other. Anyone in the US can join my growing team...I'd love to have you! Good luck Jamie!

Q: Here's another one...how did you get started on your blog? I've always been interested in blogging, but don't know where to begin.

A: Right before I became a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I discovered that people were blogging about stamping. I had recently rediscovered stamping myself and found these blogs to be a wealth of inspiration. I've been a self-taught computer geek since about 1995 on the web when I created my first website, but that experience wasn't all needed to create a blog. I found out that blogger was free, so I went with that, and really it's pretty easy to get started...just follow the instructions! I still use blogger but have customized my site quite a bit. I hope that my blog has provided all of my readers with inspiration and information and will continue to do so! I have since added twitter, facebook, and YouTube to my online presence...please follow me, become a fan, and subscribe to my channel to get the full benefit!

My Creative Friend Charlie

Last weekend was my 17th wedding anniversary, and my friend Charlie gave us this really cool stitched card (thanks for the bubbly!) that she made...

AND, this awesome gift basket, stamped and made from paper (a Lauren Meader template), and full of goodies!

Charlie, you're so thoughtful! Make sure you check out her website at www.charliescraftroom.com for her creations! I just bought the Halloween gourd necklace from her, it's my favorite!

Loads of Camping Fun

The Black Hills is THE place for camping. People from all over the world to camp here. We camp too, even though we live in the Black Hills National Forest in the woods! Would you be surprised if I told you I've stamped when camping?

This 6" x 6" scrapbook page was another one our Hostess Club projects Tuesday night. I just love the new stamp set Loads of Fun that matches Loads of Love! The vintage camper stamp is my fave!

Tropical Drink

I don't drink much, but last week we tried out a new restaurant in town and I had a blue margarita...it as pretty good! It was the inspiration for this Hostess Club card that the gals made on Tuesday night.

Melon Mambo isn't one of the colors listed as matching the Pink Flamingo Designer Series Paper (did you know that each DSP has a list of matching colors right with it in the Idea Book & Catalog?), but I still think it looks yummy!

Mmmmm...
