Texturz Plates

I love the new Texturz Plates in the Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog! Here is a sample ring made with both sets of 3 double-sided plates, which gives you a total of 12 different textures that you can apply to your cardstock for all of your projects (click to see a larger photo since it is hard to see the detail).

To texturize your cardstock, your Big Shot sandwich is, from the bottom up: the Multipurpose Platform, your cardstock, the Silicone Rubber pad, and the Impressions Pad. The Multipurpose Platform makes it so easy to use all of the dies and plates: the sandwiches are illustrated on each tab of the platform!

TIP: To get a nice, crisp impression from your Texturz Plates, spray your cardstock lightly with rubbing (isopropyl) alcohol before running it through the machine. It dries almost immediately and won't change or mottle the paper's color like water might. If you don't have rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle, you can also try adding a shim of an extra piece of cardstock on top of the whole sandwich.
Have you made any projects yet with the Texturz Plates?
