Mojo Monday 99

I'm taking my first crack at the Mojo Monday sketch with this card. Every Monday a sketch is provided to kickstart your mojo! I may not always finish on Monday (like today), but I am going to try to keep up! As an added bonus with the Mojo Monday sketch cards I make, I am going to give you the full instructions with dimensions on how to recreate my card! It's like a private workshop especially for you each time! In the supplies list at the bottom, I will also include the item number from the catalog to help you in ordering any supplies you need to order from me.

I hope you enjoy this new feature of my blog. As always, I will use Stampin' Up! products EXCLUSIVELY. Now, on to the card:

Stampin Up Simple Snowflake Autumn Days by 2stampis2b
Here's how to make this card:
  1. Color the pine branch stamp from Autumn Days with your Soft Suede & Old Olive Markers, thumping (randomly & sparsely dotting) some Basic Black Marker on the cones. Huff on the stamp to moisten it before stamping the image on a piece of Whisper White Card Stock cut to the same size as the stamp block (2" x 2-1/4").
  2. Zip off the 4 corners of the stamped image using your Ticket Corner Punch.
  3. Adhere to your 2-3/4" x 3-1/2" piece of striped Merry Moments Designer Series Paper and place 4 Vintage Brads in each Ticket Corner Punched area. I used my Paper Piercing Tool and the Mat Stack for easy placement.
  4. Stamp the Simple Snowflake Under $10 stamp in VersaMark ink on Kraft Card Stock and heat emboss with White Stampin' Emboss powder, then punch out with the matching Jumbo Snowflake Punch.
  5. Layer a Chocolate Chip Card Stock Jumbo Snowflake under your Kraft snowflake using another Vintage Brad (use your Paper Piercing Tool and Mat Pack again).
  6. Loop one end of a 6-1/2" length of your gorgeous and silky 1-1/4" Chocolate Chip Striped Grosgrain Ribbon that you've forked the tails of, and adhere it to the back of your DSP with SNAIL.
  7. Run a 2-1/2" x 4" Garden Green and 2-1/2" x 3-1/4" Really Rust piece of Card Stock through your Big Shot with the Distressed Texturz Plate and adhere each one cattiwhampus on the Soft Suede card base (8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored in half at 4-1/4").
  8. Attach the Designer Series Paper/stamped image/ribbon bit with Stampin' Dimensionals.
  9. Stamp "Merry Christmas" from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set (a must have since it has about every occasion you can think of!) in Basic Black Classic Ink and punch out with the Word Window Punch.
  10. Adhere the sentiment with Stampin' Dimensionals.
  11. Top off with your layered Jumbo Snowflakes using a tiny bit of Stampin' Dimensional.
Let me know how you like my new feature! I'm thinking that this Mojo Monday sketch will make us feel like geniuses every week...I hope you play along with me!

Stamp away today!
Michelle
