I made this card to send to a team member's friend, who is in critical need of some prayers.
I used the beautiful Thoughts & Prayers stamp set, coloring in the leaves with my Old Olive marker after inking up the stamp in Chocolate Chip.
The Finial Press embossing is a done a little differently after seeing my online friend Patty Bennett's method of excluding an oval in the center so that it remains smooth. I didn't have any thin wood frames like Patty recommended, so I made my own frame with 4 layers of DSP cardboard backing glued together with Anywhere Glue Stick. When you slip this oval cutout frame under the embossing folder that has the paper in it and run it through your Big Shot, the oval center will not emboss because it doesn't have that pressure on it! Pretty cool, huh?
