I had the best roomies at the Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference for my first time: Mary Fish & Anne Beale Yancey! I KNOW, aren't I lucky?!!!
I wanted to give them each something useful for taking scads of notes from our wonderful business classes, guest speakers, and Stampin' Up! announcements during general session, so I dolled up these journals that were already the color of So Saffron. I added striped paper from the Sweet Pea Designer Series Paper Stack and layered it on Chocolate Chip, Rose Red, or Taken with Teal card stock, then embellished with some of our new Sweet Pea Stitched Felt pieces, held on with a Mini Glue Dot and a teensy bit of Crystal Effects for good measure.
Inside (but not pictured) is a matching rectangle of card stock with our new 5/8" Satin Ribbon in either Chocolate Chip or Pretty in Pink stapled on top, made into a movable bookmark by punching one edge with the Spiral Punch.
I made 3 of these so we'd each have one (mine is FULL of great notes from Leadership), and I bet it only took me about 15 minutes to whip them up, because that's about all the time I had the night before I flew to Phoenix!
